Yellen: US, allies still to coordinate Russian oil price cap

WASHINGTON, Oct 17 (PRIME) -- The U.S. and its allies have not yet made a final decision following a recent agreement between the U.S. and its partners to finalize the Russian oil price cap, U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen said in a news briefing on October 16.

Nobody from the coalition of the U.S. and its allies buys or plans to buy Russian oil, but the price cap should stabilize the global energy prices, she said.
